Tucson Shelters

Shelter care has been the cornerstone of Open-Inn operations since 1974. Open-Inn currently operates two short-term crisis shelters in Tucson, the Louis Street Shelter in mid-town and the Linden Street Shelter in East Tucson.

Both shelters serve youth (ages 8-17) who have runaway, are homeless or are unable to remain home due to a crisis situation. Children, youth and families participate in a structured, therapeutic environment which includes cognitive skill building, educational support, case management, and aftercare support groups for youth and families to improve outcomes and ensure their successful re-unification or self-sufficiency.
