Open Inn is a community based non-profit organization that has provided shelter and crisis intervention services for homeless, runaway and at-risk youth and their families since the agencies inception in 1974. From its Tucson hub, Open Inn has developed programs for runaway and homeless youth in rural communities in Northern and Southern Arizona , which would otherwise not be served. Open Inn serves more than 6,000 individuals per year in shelter care, supervised transitional living, independent living, life skills training, community assessment, and truancy and outreach services.

Employment with Open Inn, Inc. provides those interested in the field of social services with a broad range of experience with youth and family issues, community resources, contract sources and the opportunity to learn and utilize professional skills. The agency provides a continuum of services ranging from ‘walk-in’, Street Outreach services to crisis shelter for juveniles and residential programs for young adults. Open Inn provides extensive Orientation Training and ongoing training in field related areas for all employees. The cost of required training is covered by the agency. General requirements for employment with Open Inn

  • Applicant must be at least 21 years of age * (due to contractual requirement)
  • Have a high school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Submit a motor vehicle record with application *
  • Applicant must clear fingerprint process
  • Related experience or education preferred
