Open Inn & GIITEM Launch Gang Prevention & Awareness Workshops

Open Inn is pleased to announce that we are now offering free monthly presentations on gang prevention and awareness for youth and for parents/guardians in collaboration with GIITEM, the Arizona State Gang Task Force.
Workshops Include
Parents/Guardian Workshops: We’ll distribute a handbook for parents and provide education on gang behaviors, clothing, graffiti, parenting suggestions, neighborhood safety, intervention and prevention support for youth and more.
Youth: We’ll discuss the realities and consequences of gang involvement, importance of education, and skills to avoid gang involvement.
All presentations are facilitated by Detective Steve Vildusea, GIITEM, Arizona Department of Public Safety.
